I have always been creative! As a kid my Nan would collect old cereal boxes, wrappers, and all sorts of odds and ends and encourage me to cut, stick and draw at every opportunity. Soon, I was making cards and gifts for all the family and as I grew up this became a firm hobby.
When my boyfriend finally proposed I made the decision to make all of my wedding invitations, and it was after this that the idea for a card making business began to take shape. I was asked by a close friend to also make the invitations for her wedding and since then she has been a regular customer, encouraging me to make cards for all of her friends and relatives, and pushing me to explore my creative side. I have also been encouraged by other close family and friends who have all put in regular requests for different cards, helping me to expand my design ideas.
Always one to take on a challenge I picked up a crochet hook about 5 years ago and became… well, hooked!!
Since making my first blanket I have tackled all sorts of interesting projects and the results are regularly being updated here in this shop!!
